About This Job Family
People in this job family build relationships that create new business opportunities—partnerships, integrations, channels, and strategic alliances. They find the deals that wouldn't happen through normal sales motions and structure the agreements that make them work.
What You'll Do
Channel Business Development professionals recruit, enable, and grow channel partners—resellers, distributors, VARs, and MSPs. They build partner programs that scale revenue through indirect sales. Success means a thriving partner ecosystem that drives significant revenue growth.
- • Own channel strategy and planning
- • Build organizational structure for channel scale
- • Define channel investment and program priorities
- • Establish executive relationships with key partners
- • Drive alignment between direct and indirect
- • Represent channel in executive forums
