About This Job Family
People in this job family protect the organization from threats—external and internal. They design security architecture, respond to incidents, manage compliance, and build the culture of security awareness. Their job is to enable the business to move fast without getting breached.
What You'll Do
Penetration Testers conduct authorized security assessments to find vulnerabilities through active exploitation. They test web applications, APIs, networks, and cloud infrastructure, then report findings with remediation guidance. This is offensive security work.
- • Learn penetration testing fundamentals including tools and techniques
- • Execute basic penetration tests with guidance
- • Write exploit scripts and testing tools
- • Document findings with clear reproduction steps
- • Support senior testers on complex assessments
- • Participate in assessments to learn attack methodologies
