People in this job family own the 'what' and 'why' of products—defining vision, prioritizing roadmaps, and translating customer needs into features that drive business outcomes. Product management is an inherently inbound function: PMs synthesize customer discovery, user research, market signals, and usage data to determine what to build. They work at the intersection of engineering, design, and go-to-market, balancing competing demands while keeping teams aligned on what matters most.

What You'll Do

API Product Managers own the contract between systems. They think in terms of endpoints, payloads, and rate limits—not user interfaces. Their success is measured by API adoption, latency percentiles, and developer satisfaction. They bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring APIs are both powerful and usable.

• Define API vision that enables developer success
• Architect frameworks for API governance and developer feedback at scale
• Solve the most complex API design and ecosystem challenges
• Drive organizational alignment on API strategy
• Own adoption and revenue metrics for API portfolio
• Represent API in executive developer discussions
