What You'll Do
Sales Engineers combine technical expertise with sales skills, serving as the technical voice in the sales process. Unlike Solutions Engineers who focus on customer solutions, Sales Engineers are quota-carrying sellers who happen to have deep technical backgrounds. They sell technical products to technical buyers.
- • Define technical sales strategy and close the most complex technical deals
- • Architect technical solutions for the company's most strategic opportunities
- • Establish best practices and playbooks that elevate technical sales excellence
- • Serve as the expert on technical positioning and competitive differentiation
- • Drive initiatives that shape technical go-to-market approach
- • Influence product roadmap through deep technical customer insights
