About This Job Family

What You'll Do
Demo Specialists create and deliver compelling product demonstrations that drive sales. They build demo environments, craft narratives, and present to prospects in ways that bring the product to life. Success means demos that excite prospects, answer their questions, and move deals forward.
- • Define demo strategy and deliver executive presentations for strategic deals
- • Architect compelling demo experiences for the company's most important opportunities
- • Establish best practices and playbooks that elevate demo excellence
- • Serve as the expert on demo methodology and product storytelling
- • Drive initiatives that shape demo approach and content strategy
- • Influence product roadmap through demo effectiveness insights

Manage a Team?
Great managers are practitioners first. The IC responsibilities above are your foundation—the craft you model for your team. Your management responsibilities are additive:
- • Hire SEs who can go deep technically AND tell a compelling story
- • Coach technical storytelling—demos win deals, not feature lists
- • Run 1:1s that build both product mastery and customer empathy
- • Give feedback on deal involvement—what worked, what to try next
- • Remove blockers—fight for product access, demo environments, and sales alignment
