What You'll Do

Customer Engineers provide ongoing technical expertise to customers after implementation. They serve as trusted technical advisors, helping customers optimize their use of the product, solve technical challenges, and plan for the future. Success means customers who maximize product value through deep technical partnership.

  • Advise the most strategic customers as technical partner
  • Define best practices for customer engineering excellence
  • Drive strategic initiatives for technical customer success
  • Build thought leadership in customer engineering
  • Influence product strategy through customer insights
  • Create technical case studies and references

Manage a Team?

  • Hire SEs who can go deep technically AND tell a compelling story
  • Coach technical storytelling—demos win deals, not feature lists
  • Run 1:1s that build both product mastery and customer empathy
  • Give feedback on deal involvement—what worked, what to try next
  • Remove blockers—fight for product access, demo environments, and sales alignment
