About This Job Family
People in this job family bridge the gap between sales and technical delivery. They demo products, architect solutions, and prove that the product can solve the customer's specific problem. They're technical enough to go deep and commercial enough to close.
What You'll Do
Postsales Solutions Engineers ensure successful implementations after deals close. They design solutions, guide implementations, and ensure customers achieve their desired outcomes. Unlike Customer Success which focuses on relationships, they focus on technical execution. Success means implementations that go live on time and deliver expected value.
- • Deliver the most complex implementations
- • Define best practices for implementation excellence
- • Drive strategic technical initiatives for customer success
- • Build technical thought leadership in implementation
- • Influence product roadmap for implementation efficiency
- • Create reference implementations and case studies

- • Hire SEs who can go deep technically AND tell a compelling story
- • Coach technical storytelling—demos win deals, not feature lists
- • Run 1:1s that build both product mastery and customer empathy
- • Give feedback on deal involvement—what worked, what to try next
- • Remove blockers—fight for product access, demo environments, and sales alignment
