They sit at the intersection of law, technology, and business process — designing intake workflows, implementing contract lifecycle management platforms, optimizing outside counsel spend, and building the analytics that transform legal from a cost center into a strategic function. Legal Ops professionals aren't practicing law; they're making legal departments run like well-oiled machines.
- • Assist with legal technology administration and user support
- • Help maintain matter management and document systems
- • Process invoices and support e-billing workflows
- • Generate standard reports on legal department metrics
- • Support contract repository organization and metadata tagging
- • Coordinate meeting schedules and track action items for the legal ops team
