What You'll Do
Legal Operations professionals are the architects of how legal departments actually work. They sit at the intersection of law, technology, and business process — designing intake workflows, implementing contract lifecycle management platforms, optimizing outside counsel spend, and building the analytics that transform legal from a cost center into a strategic function. Legal Ops professionals aren't practicing law; they're making legal departments run like well-oiled machines.
- • Own the P&L for legal operations including all technology and vendor spend
- • Set global legal operations standards across jurisdictions and subsidiaries
- • Partner with C-suite on enterprise risk management and legal cost optimization
- • Lead board-level reporting on legal department efficiency and strategic impact
- • Drive innovation partnerships with legal tech startups and academic institutions
- • Shape the organization's approach to legal AI governance and responsible adoption
